In recent years, coyotes have become less afraid of people and are coming into neighborhoods throughout the South Bay. Because this problem has no boundaries, the SBCCOG Board of Directors asked that a Regional Coyote Management Task Force be formed. Participants have included representatives from police and planning departments and code enforcement officers. Several City Council members have also attended the meetings. Guest speakers are invited to the meetings to share and discuss best practices.
The Task Force meets about every 3 months.
