In conjunction with SCAG and the SBCCOG, Wilbur Smith and Associates conducted this 2002 study of the Harbor Subdivision. Since the opening of the Alameda Corridor, operations in the Harbor Subdivision have been projected to significantly change. This study focused on identifying rail volume that remains in the subdivision, as well as its impact on future traffic levels and the associated need for grade crossing improvements.
