Report: Compass Blueprint Market Feasibility Analysis in the South Bay (Aug. 2008)

Over the past three years, the South Bay Cities Council of Governments (SBCCOG) has been conducting research into the transportation performance of its existing urban form, especially typical suburban corridors, and compact mixed-use centers consistent with the Compass Blueprint. Read more on this study and its findings.

SB886 Signed into law

SB 886, the legislation that adds a seat on the AQMD Board for the west side cities of L.A. County has been signed into law.  SBCCOG thanks Assemblyman Ted Lieu & Senator Gloria Negrete-McLeod for their outstanding leadership as well as our coalition of partners from Las Virgenes-Malibu, Westside and Gateway COGs, the League of California Cities, L.A. Division, Contract Cities Association, and many many elected officials throughout the region.
