SOUTH BAY CITIES COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENTS INFRASTRUCTURE WORKING GROUP LUNCH MEETING

SOCIAL & ORDER LUNCH - 11:30 A.M. to 11:50 A.M.MEETING – 12:00 to 1:30 P.M.
Agenda will focus on the Congestion Mitigation Fee – presenters Heather Hills, Metro and Chris Wornum, project consultant. (agenda attached). Metro staff and consultants are actively working on a proposed Congestion Mitigation Fee. They will be presenting on the development of the mitigation fee and are looking for feedback from our subregion. Chris Wornum, project consultant, will concentrate on specific tasks to move forward with a South Bay COG Congestion Mitigation Fee program which would need the cities' involvement and adoption. In addition, he will discuss city help with the following:· Project Identification· Confirm 2030 Growth Forecasts· Review any existing City Ordinances with Transportation Fee Programs· Review and approve Preliminary Transportation Network Metro will also share the tools that can be used by the individual cities (with or without their assistance) in developing their program (i.e. Fee Calculator); future steps; and how to keep the dialogue open with each city. FYI - Metro will also be making this presentation to the City Managers' group on June 17.
