Learn how to work more effectively with your local newspaper and broadcast media at these fast-paced, hands-on workshops. The workshop is for SBCCOG elected officials and is open to anyone in the city that will have to respond to media inquiries in an emergency - elected officials, staff, etc.

                               1400 Highland Avenue  

The schedule would be:                      2:00 pm to  5 pm - Session 1 - Media Training
                                                           5:30 pm to  7 pm -  Dinner and Media Panel
                                                           7:00 pm to 10 pm - Session 2 (Session 1 repeated)

~ Attend either session or both ~ Sign up for Session 1 and dinner OR Session 2 and dinner.

Presented by veteran South Bay media consultants Brad Ritter and Janet Ritter, these programs feature real-life drills and on-camera experience and are designed for elected officials and senior management.
 
We have already gotten commitments from Channel 7, KTLA, KCOP and the Daily Breeze that they would participate in the media panel if possible.
