The October Legislative Committee meeting scheduled for next week is cancelled. Attached is the disposition of all of the bills that we have monitored or taken positions on this year. The Board has also taken an oppose position on Propositions 7 and 10 and a support position on Proposition 11. Please let me know if you have any questions.
The next meeting will be on Tuesday, November 18. At that meeting we will start to review our annual Legislative Agenda for the next legislative session. We may also have a better idea of how the current economic situation is affecting the state and whether there may be a special session. And finally, we can review the implementation steps and possible follow-up legislation coming from SB 375, the AB 32 implementation bill.
