The next meeting of the South Bay Cities Council of Governments Infrastructure Working Group is:

Cost: Cost of lunch, including soft drinks, coffee, dessert, and tip, is $25.00 per person.

Importation Agenda Item: SBCCOG OWP Model Corridor Study
Working off of SCAG’s I-405 corridor study, the SBCCOG has started a study of arterials that are adjacent to or border the I-405 in the South Bay. This study will focus on installing detector equipment, collecting and analyzing data, and making recommendations for improvements on the selected arterials. A kick off meeting was held earlier this month and the next steps will be discussed during this IWG meeting including candidate arterials to be studied. Cities should review materials on system requirements, specifications on the hardware, and the city “need” list which will be e-mailed out on Friday, May 23. Cities should come prepared to discuss which streets they would like to see included in the study along with any questions they have regarding improvements. Actual selection of the arterials to be studied will be decided at the next meeting of the study committee tentatively scheduled for mid June.
