Follow-up: Eighth Annual General Assembly - Mobility Options for the South Bay
The program included remarks from State Assemblymember Ted Lieu and State Senators Jenny Oropeza and Alan Lowenthal. Speakers presented on "Thinking about Traffic Congestion in LA", presented by Brian Taylor, Director of UCLA’s Institute of Transportation Studies and “Programming Mobility Benefits: An Approach to Proposition 1B" presented by John Barna, Executive Director of the California Transportation Commission.
Panels included transit experts Roger Snoble, CEO for L.A. Metro (Presentation) and Terisa Price, Beach Cities Transit Manager talking about current South Bay transportation options moderated by L.A. County Supervisor and Metro Board member Don Knabe and transportation alternatives featuring Segways, Neighborhood Vehicles, Vanpools, and Flexcar.
In addition there were over 35 exhibits on transportation services, products, and programs.
