Technology Committee
The Technology Committee’s mission is to promote the use of technology through education and information sharing in order to enhance the ability of member cities to more efficiently and effectively deliver services to their constituents. The Committee will:
Chair: Michael Keegan, Councilmember, Hermosa Beach
Meets: 2nd Wednesday of every month at 3:30 p.m. at City of Hermosa Beach Council Chambers
- Monitor technology developments, markets, and applications elsewhere
- Study the technology infrastructure, markets and usage in the South Bay
- Identify opportunities for the SBCCOG to develop initiatives that would capture economies of scale or scope
- Acquire information resources for sharing with interested South Bay cities
- Develop a strategic technology vision for the South Bay
