Sept 18 Legislative Mtg Cancelled

The SBCCOG Legislative Committee Sept 18 has been cancelled.
The legislature is finishing up its business this week and there isn't much more to discuss. We are still requesting letters of support for SB 886 (to add a seat on the AQMD Board) to the Governor as soon as possible with copies to the SBCCOG. Next Monday, September 17, the legislative matrices of the bills we have positions on will be sent out with status and location.
The next meeting of the Legislative Committee will be on Tuesday, October 16 where we will review the legislative session and begin to discuss our annual legislative agenda. Also, the SBCCOG Board of Directors will be meeting on Thursday, September 27 and a legislative update will be on the agenda. You are invited to attend. The meeting will be in the Torrance Cultural Arts Center @ 7 pm.
