Draft Legislative Agenda Released

The SBCCOG has just released its first draft of the 2007 Legislative Agenda.  This is the document that the SBCCOG uses to guide the taking of positions on legislation and each year it is reviewed and updated.  The attachment is actually the 2006 Adopted Legislative agenda with highlighted sections showing comments made by the Legislative Committee in their first review of the document at their last meeting.
 

 
Please review the sections that are most relevant to your expertise and contact Jacki Bacharach at (310) 377-8987, regarding any proposed additions, deletions or modifications.  This includes knowledge of any issue that will be coming up this legislative session that is not reflected. Or, if an issue is no longer relevant, please comment as well.
 
The Legislative Committee will be reviewing the Annual Legislative Agenda at their next meeting which is on January 16, 2007 and will be making a recommendation to the Board for adoption at the January 25, 2007 Board meeting.
