Local Use Vehicle Demonstration Project

The South Bay Cities Council of Governments recieved a grant from the South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) to demonstrate how Local Use Vehicles (LUVs) can be used to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, air pollution, and gasoline consumption.

For Immediate Release: South Bay Cities Council of Governments Adopts 5-Year $146 million Funding Plan for 39 Early Action Measure R Highway Projects

The Board of Directors of the South Bay Cities Council of Governments on January 27, 2011 adopted a funding plan that would implement 39 highway improvements using $146 million of Measure R sales tax revenues available during the next five years.  Please click here for the press release information.
