As of the May meeting, the Legislative Committee has made the decision to to move the location and time of their meetings. The Legislative Committee will now meet the 2nd Monday of the month @ 1:30 pm. The meeting will now be held at the South Bay Environmental Services Center before the Steering Committee.
The Legislative Committee meeting has reviewed last year's Annual Legislative Agenda and decided to reorganize and shorten the scope as well as create a companion document that would address specific timely issues that might be priorities for this year. The Legislative Committee annually develops a Legislative Agenda for SBCCOG Board of Directors’ adoption. This agenda is then used to monitor, evaluate and recommend to the Board positions on Regional, State and Federal proposed legislation and regulations.
