Since our Volunteer program began in April 2008, volunteers have contributed a total of 1,6661.5 hours allowing us to extend our reach into the community. The 2nd Annual Volunteer Awards Reception was held at the Automobile Driving Museum, in the City of El Segundo, to recognize volunteers with over 100 hours of service. The SBCCOG organized a delegation of representatives from the South Bay to testify at the December 20, 1009 Metro Board meeting in support of bringing the Crewnshaw/LAX light rail line closer to construction in the South Bay. Please click here for additional information.
